Usage Permissions

Copyright © Energy Priorities, All Rights Reserved Worldwide.

Never download our content and publish it elsewhere or broadcast it without first obtaining our written permission.

Linking

Link freely to Energy Priorities, its departments and articles, but please avoid linking directly to image or audio files, as these URLs may change without redirection. That means, link to the post, rather than to an .mp3 or .jpg file, and your link won’t break unexpectedly.

Quoting

Quote up to 200 words from our articles** without requesting permission, provided that you clearly attribute the material to Energy Priorities. A link is appreciated but not mandatory. You can link directly to the article you quote, to the category, or to the home page.

Publishing

Our articles and images are available on request, for use in whole or in part by relevant news publications and industry web sites. In many cases such permission is granted at no charge or for a modest fee. We do not require a by-line for paid usage. Contact us for terms and written permission.

Reprinting

Companies, organizations and individuals who are mentioned in Energy Priorities may reprint up to 1,000 copies of the article** in which they are mentioned. Reprints may be used internally or externally for any legitimate purpose, provided (a) the content of the article and/or graphic is not altered without prior written authorization from Energy Priorities; (b) the reprints are distributed free of charge; (c) such use does not defame or harm the goodwill of Energy Priorities or of any other entity mentioned in the article; and (d) a copyright notice is included (“Copyright 20xx Energy Priorities”).

Public education institutions may reprint or reproduce our articles and graphics, provided they are distributed intact, at no charge, for education purposes, and a copyright notice is included (“Copyright 20xx Energy Priorities”).

Notes

** Permission is not offered for use of newswire, wire photos, stock photos, or news headlines from outside sources.

These terms are subject to change without notice.
